Cabin Amenities

Your Spruce Ridge Guest Cabin is completely furnished, tastefully decorated and all-electric for your safety. There are beautiful mountain and creek views from every window and every deck.

The aspen trim and pine blue stain wainscoting in each room, slate entryways, and laminated flooring with beautiful area rugs add to the interior beauty of the cabin. The radiant heat ceiling panels provide you with allergen-free air. Perfect for those brisk winter days, the tankless hot water heater affords unlimited hot water!

BeddroomThe large bedroom features a queen-sized pillowtop bed with electric blanket for cold nights, a 9-drawer dresser and mirrors for extended stays, night stands and lamps, a Lazy Boy sleeper sofa, a stereo and CD player, telephone with free long distance calling, chair and floor lamp and access to a small deck. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

Adjacent to your bedroom is a large tiled bathroom with tub and shower, toilet, sink, large vanity with a mirrored cabinet, hairdryer, and an oak wall cabinet.

A utility room off the hallway has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

Living RoomIn the living room you’ll find a cozy pellet stove with beautiful stone hearth and walls, a leather queen-sized sleeper sofa, upholstered chairs, floor lamps, a 30 inch TV/DVD/VHS, and a stereo/CD player.  A 100+ DVD/VHS movie library is available for checkout. There are two outside decks with deck furniture and gas grill during the summer. A ceiling fan adds to your comfort.

An adjacent bathroom with shower allows the living room to double as a second bedroom to accommodate children or a second couple.
                       
KitchenThe kitchen is like yours at home with a full-sized stove, large cooking microwave, full-sized dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, small appliances, pots and pans, and of course plates and silverware. Spacious cabinets provide food storage for your extended stay and the countertops and floors feature accenting colored tile. The dining room table and chairs provide seating for two to six people.  Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate are provided.

A foyer has a large closet for additional clothing and food storage, a cabinet with games, seating to remove and store your ski boots or hikers, and plenty of hooks to hang jackets and daypacks.

Outside you’ll find a picnic table and storage for skis and snowboards.

Surrounding your deluxe vacation house are 35 acres of private land for hiking, and trout fishing in the year-round creek (license required-see link). The San Isabel National Forest surrounds our ranch on three sides for virtually unlimited summer and winter recreation.
